The blur is doing work here—it’s not obscuring the suit, it’s obscuring the person supposed to be inside it, which means the institutional uniform keeps its legibility while the human becomes noise. The blindfolds don’t erase the space so much as they redistribute its weight—what was shared terrain becomes private obstacle course, and the other body becomes just another thing to navigate around rather than with.
